CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS - Micah 6:8 Books, LLC

Micah 6:8 Books, LLC is proud to announce the production of our first anthology, Home Again. We’d love for you to share in this inaugural event. We are seeking powerful and creative stories from seasoned and aspiring authors, demonstrating the power of love restoring broken relationships.

For this project, relationship is not limited to male/female romance and home is not limited to a physical building. In addition to romance, we’re looking for stories in which the parent/child relationship is mended, sibling rivalries are dissolved, and friendships are restored.

Submission Guidelines

Stories must be between 6,000 – 7,000 words (this includes your bio). The genre for Home Again is Christian fiction. Characters need not to be devout Christians, but must use their faith to resolve issues and difficulties. Stories with profanity, explicit sex scenes or sexual innuendos are not permitted. Story must be typed, double-spaced with a 12-pt. Times New Roman font. The author’s name, story title, page number and e-mail address should be in the header of each page.

Send story as an attachment via e-mail with the subject: Home Again, to micah68books@prodigy.net. All entries must be received by March 31, 2010. Authors will be notified of inclusion via e-mail no later than April 15, 2010. Home Again is scheduled for release November 2010; just in time for the holiday season.

The cost for submission is FREE. Upon receiving notification of inclusion, each participating author will be required to pay a $100 administrative fee. Included in this minimal charge is the cost of copyediting, 250 promotional post cards, a blog tour and 3-complimentary copies of Home Again. Participating authors may purchase books (in increments of 10) at 50% below retail, plus shipping and handling.

Home Again will be distributed nationally through Baker & Taylor and Ingram and made available on major Internet retail sites. Micah 6:8 Books will market to major booksellers and independent bookstores around the country.
